COMPENSATION

Just as you would be investing your life into this dream, we are making a very literal investment into you as well. We want to clearly communicate that this is a paid internship by way of  housing, utilities, food, pastoral counseling, and training.  While you will not receive a monthly paycheck, we will be paying for your rent, utilities, food, and training throughout the duration of the year.  Below, you will see how much it costs for you to live here, and what we will cover monthly.

Average Monthly Living Costs in NC for a single person:

Food: $400
Utilities (gas, electricity, wifi, water  and trash): $350
Rent: $1,ooo

There are parts of your internship that we cannot put a price on. We have a strong desire that you feel the weight of the gift you would be given:

A minimum of 62+ hours of pastoral counseling and one-on-one discipleship
140+ hours of training in craft and life skills
Over a year of leadership training in the safety of family

We are a community that joins our faith with the Father in our finances. We have an expectation that you raise support to cover your personal bills and to have spending money each month. We require that you raise a minimum of $150 a month for gas, toiletries, group outings, etc. Raising support is not optional.  If you are accepted to the internship, you will receive more information on raising support.
