2026 Women’s Phase One Application

Thank you for your interest in applying to the 18 Inch Journey. We look forward to hearing from you!

Please carefully read the information below regarding how our application process will work for the 2026 school:

Due to high demand, we will be implementing a lottery-based system this year to inform which female applications are being processed.  We will be using this process to build our Roster and our Waitlist for this year's school. Applications will open on August 27th and will close on September 10th, at 11:59pm EST. Once the application period closes we will no longer be accepting any additional female applications. 

Our desire is that applicants could take their time filling out the application as it is no longer based on first-come, first-serve. There will not be a cap on how many applications can be submitted during this window of time. 

Please note that your application needs 3 things to be considered complete: 

1. Application submission fee 
2. Your application form which includes a written portion and a video portion
3. One completed Reference Form

Please pay your $15.00 application fee before submitting your application.

2. Women’s Application

The Women’s application will be open from Wednesday, August 27 - Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Applications will automatically close at 11:59pm EST on September 10th.

3. Reference Form

Your application requires one reference in order to be complete and ready for processing. 

Please choose someone who knows you well and can offer perspective on the areas of your life where you need help. When considering who you will ask to be your reference, we encourage you to choose someone who you trust to offer this type of well-rounded reflection. It will be helpful to choose someone you interact with regularly and who you frequently practice honesty and vulnerability with. Please note, we do not accept references from parents or significant others.
